Social & Environmental Impact Assessments (SEIA)
Social and Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) is an integrated process used to identify and manage the potential impacts of an industrial project on both the natural environment and the people within its vicinity.
In the 2025 landscape of the Bangladesh textile industry, SEIA has moved beyond being a "check-box" for the Department of Environment (DoE). It is now a critical prerequisite for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and for maintaining the "Green Factory" status that global buyers demand.
